Quickbooks is capable of importing data from an Excel file. Try looking in the QB help for how to do it.
Generally if you export from QB to Excel, the resulting file will be in the format QB expects when importing. This can be used as a template.

Here is how to create batch invoices in QuickBooks: http://www.quick-training.com/2013/12/11/how-to-use-batch-invoicing-in-q...
Please note that currently there is no support for multi lined batch invoicing. If your invoices have multiple lines you should consider our Transaction Pro Importer at http://transactionpro.com/products/01TxnWizardDemo.asp
Importing is a massive pain in the [***] in QB desktop programmes. I used to use a third party programme from http://bigredconsulting.com/tools-for-quickbook/ but it still wasn't easy. I dumped QuickBooks as soon as I could.
Also have a look at Zed Axis Import at https://www.zed-systems.com/
A little bit of learning involved but very good as it will also catch errors before you import.
You dont say if it is the desktop version or the cloud alternative. Both act differently. The desktop version will not be supported for too long so you may wish to convert to cloud. Currently there is free conversion opportunity
