Recommend registered office providers

Preferably in London

Didn't find your answer?

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a registered office provider? I see a lot online who will forward official documents by email for around £30 a year, seems ideal as that's all I need it for, but we do get a lot of post from HMRC not sure if that will be covered and I do want a reliable service.

Many thanks

I never recommend such services, as they are for people with something to hide. Why would you want one?

Not true.

1 - I wouldn't want my home address in public
2 - All "easy in and out" offices I've looked at don't let you use their address
3 - Most importantly, I've moved 3 times in 4 years, updating addresses is a pain! The joys of rented accommodation.

My experience is that the majority of those who don't want their home address to be public are in fear of debt collectors or are breaching their rental terms by working from home, though all such people claim there is some other more legitimate reason. I avoid using businesses that have an accommodation address as their R/O.

i take issue with your comments. why should people have their homes as a registered office and your blanket aspersions are ridiculous there is little truth in them

Agreed! Also my rental agreement states that I am not allowed to run a business from home.

If you get a lot of post from HMRC why not ask your accountant to use their address.
Sorry I made an assumption there. Do you have an accountant ( or are you one ?)? If not why are you generating a lot of HMRC post ?

I have two female company owners running different companies, who, due to some very nasty trolls on facebook, have moved their registered office to International House, 24 Holborn Viaduct, EC1. They consider this a matter of personal safety and many other women will understand their concerns.

Absolutely - it is not just existing clients who might turn up at your home address out of hours (as my own father used to do to his accountant!), but also any random unknown member of the public who views your website - it's a safety as well as convenience issue.
