Can anyone recommend a simple cloud based fixed asset software solution?

Can anyone recommend a simple cloud based fixed asset software solution? We are trying to get away from using spreadsheets to keep our asset register and looking for advice as to what is avaliable.

A lot of accounts software includes. For instance our Key Prime Landmark Software links a property management module with an accounts module, within the account module I have normal sales/purchase/bank/nominal sections, but in addition fixed asset additions are recorded into the database individually (from PL module) and depreciation can be preset re rate/asset life etc and is semi automatic to the P&L and Balance Sheet.

Would it not be better to get something linked with the accounts package, otherwise a lot of time could be spent squaring the two each period.

For general purposes, I'd fully agree (and even sacrifice some nice-to-have features for the full integration).

But OP only refers to "our asset register" which is suggestive (maybe?) of an in-house system, not one for multiple clients.
In which case it's back to the 'what do you really want it to do' type of questions.

Many moons ago I had a large client (college with well over 2000 staff and a LOT of equipment) who started with a 'standard' asset register.
But first they wanted to record to whom an item (say laptop) had been issued and when / then this evolved into including 'issue authorisation' / then providing a front-end for 'requests' / then incorporating a maintenance log (with reminders) / then, almost back to the original purpose, with disposals (gifted and/or sold to departing staff or given to charity or crushed).

I've probably forgotten a few aspects by now ... but it was a glorious example of how a simple need can evolve into a magnificent system on its own.
And a lesson that HMRC have never learned ... that the technology and software development can actually be remarkably simple and effective IF you can manage to control the competing human interferences (in this case from Directors of different functions)!

Mine is an in house system, I run three entities using it, all ours.

If decent software surely supplier has developed an add on or a third party has.

https://asset.guru/

Have used this a few times. It's better if integrated into Xero/QBO etc

It's so frustrating that Xero doesn't offer this - all the server based accounts packages I used in the past had some sort of FA Register (even Tetra 2000 - remember that?).

Canfigure have just brought out an assets management platform. I scoured the market last year for a good solution for 2 construction industry clients and this was the only one worth it for price and value.

https://www.canfigure.net/

Full disclosure: I liked their software so much that I asked to be a reseller for them.
