record company tax

record company tax

im a director and sole shareholder of my own limited company that trades as a record label

i want to do my own accounts and tax work. what is the quickest way to get up to speed?

ive heard that you can train to become an accountant in a short space of tuime but i only need to know how to do my books. will a groupon course or a course on reed be enough? i dont want to pay the over £600 fee an accountant is asking for as it will only be an hours work at most.

im willing to learn but i just to be pointed into the direction of a good quick course

If you think the quote you have been given is too high, shop around.

I'm almost impressed at the sheer audacity of posting this. Almost.

Once again the anonymous function is abused.

LOL! Nice spoof.

I like the way you mimicked the earlier poster's grammar and spelling. Just one thing gave you away!

All the top Finance Directors use Groupon for their accountancy qualifications, I would start there.

This one should be perfect for you. Just ask for the course director, Mr Richard Head.

to be fair he at least he didn't use the words (or equivalent of) 'as a director of my sole trade business'...

Spoof or not this does appear to accurately reflect the mind set of a significant number of 'new' members who then immediately field a 'straight forward yes or no' question.

I actually though the title referred to certain internet companies getting round to paying something to HMG.
