Reinstatement material ?

Reinstatement material ?

Didn't find your answer?

Hello I wonder if I could pick your clever brains!

2016 Revenue:

Continued ops revenue £5billon

Discontinied ops rev £140m

when preparing the 2017 accounts it was discovered £25m of the disops revenue was actually continued ops - just  classified incorrectly.Question is do I need to reinstate the prior periods revenue figure between cont & dis'ops? It will have a knock off tax impact calculation . Thanks

Also it's 'restate', not 'reinstate'

With those sorts of figures, I suggest you ask your auditor!

With these sorts of figures, and the fee that no doubt goes with them, I would consider asking one of my fellow partners ;-provided he/she is not currently frantically reviewing the Carillion files or similar.
