Claiming the 'rent a room' allowance if the tenant is a Company.

Is it possible for a director to rent a room in his own house, to his Company, and claim the rent a room allowance.

I'd agree with the first 2 parts of the question, but not the last.

EDIT: I suppose yes to the last part as well, but I don't think that's what the OP had in mind.

If the room is being used as an office, then no.

If it's not being used as an office then it's a benefit...
