Rental income CT tax software

Rental income CT tax software

Didn't find your answer?

Ltd Co client only income being rental.

Tax calc does not appear to cater for such companies has anybody any recommendations for

software that prepares the ixbrl cal.etc

Using VT for accounts production and I cannot see how to incorporate my tax comp

into ixbrl accounts other than slotting on to bottom of P&L account and entering net figure into

Taxcalc

Thank you for any advice.

Check with Taxcalc

I am surprised that a commercial (paid for) CT600 product lacks such a basic function - filing a CT return for rental income company.    I am aware that using HMRC's own interactive on line CT600 .pdf HMRC say that it shouldn't be used for rental income companies (no reason given, maybe for furnished lettings it was too difficult for HMRC's software partners to account for 10% wear and tear furnished lettings deduction, just as they couldn't program in the tax-free online filing incentive?).

So, I would suggest that TaxCalc support be contacted, and seek a solution from TaxCalc - if Taxcalc can't cope then let us know here - it is the first instance I've heard of a commercial CT600 product having such a basic failing.

sorry for posting if I am wrong but..............

Using the HMRC Forms mode I can enter the net figure but I am unable to prepare a calculation such as showing disallowed expenditure and the 10% wear and tear claim.

I do hope that I am wrong.
