I am operating a payroll for a client.  The pay period is fortnightly, the first being 14th of April .  I usually get the hours on a Tuesday and the employees get paid on the 19th the Friday.  When I submit the RTI I wish to select a payment date between the Wednesday to Friday, i.e. 17th, 18th or 19th.  The system 12pay I am currently using will not let me choose a payment date different to the pay period end date.  Does anyone know of a system where you can choose the payment date on the RTI return independently?

Absolute Accounts do this, I have found out today, as my current software provider does not allow you different pay dates in the same period.

 

I've just had a demo and you set the paydates to the normal period end, and can select different dates each period, as and when you pay people.  You send up information for those who have been paid and nil pay information for those who have not.  You can then send another return for the same period for those who are paid later, it then sends the new peoples pay and no pay for the ones you have already submitted if that makes sense. 

They will do an online demo with you if you ask.
