Rules of origin post Brexit

Just wondering if any others are looking at rules of origin?

We purchase components, (generally from UK suppliers, but not always) that have probably started in the EU or far east.

These are then incorporated into our machinery manufacture.

I am trying to get my head around rules of origin, in case this is needed post Brexit.

Previously we have just stated that all products are preferential EU origin.

Is anyone else dealing with this nightmare?

Yes, and it is pain in @@@.
I am working for manufacturing business and we buy from UK and EU (but not always UK or EU economic origin) and other countries. As our end product is changing commodity code, we will be using GB or UK as country of origin. But I still need to check if we can do that:
