Okay so in the past you could call up and HMRC would send you a SA302, our commercial software doesnt provide it, what do you awebbers do?
Surely it shouldnt be this hard.. Hopefully I've missed something simple!

You can get SA302s from within TaxFiler.
If this is in connection with a mortgage application the lender will need those SA302s together with a print of the client's tax year overview printed from within the SA online system.
Have you got handover information enough to recreate the tax comps in Taxfiler? Provided the tax due agrees with the tax overviews, I would think it would suffice?
The council of morgage lenders have demed that accountants software can take the place of SA302s but many lenders do not know that. They will usually accept accountants software print out with an original covering letter.
Yes you can get SA302's through easy online access on your HMRC account - either a personal account or as an agent
