I've asked this before but try again....
We have 2 offices and want to use sage 50 to raise invoices etc between offices. We use sage 50 already but desktop version.
Been waiting for years for sage one to be able to take the data but still waiting.
Sage 50c just doesn't seem to work and is expensive for 4 users.
Is there any other way that is reasonably priced? Xero doesn't work for payments paid in advance and I think the statements look poor too. So that's a no until they sort out the vat issues on money received in advance which is a well known problem.
Thank you.

You say you have two offices and are using Sage 50 Accounts but it is not clear what you want to do that you can't do already?
What is the problem with Sage 50c, is it not basically the same desktop software as Sage 50 Accounts?
And what sort of data are you still waiting for Sage One to be able to take?
Well, I wouldn't say Sage 50 Accounts is charged on a per computer basis. How many simultaneous users do you need was always the determining factor. Plus how many company datasets. If you are a firm of accountants, have you approached Sage to an accountant's price?
Sage One - it is a relatively straightforward process to export data (customers, suppliers, opening balances etc) out of Sage 50 to CSV and then import into Sage One. And it will get easier after the first few clients. However, I don't think there is currently a way to transfer all historical transactions en mass from Sage 50 to Sage One, in the same that can be done with Xero. But do you really need or want to do that? Why clog up the new accounting system with historical data that will, presumably, still be available in Sage 50 Accounts if you need it.
If you have a joint server you could keep the data on there and log in from other computers on the network.
