I use Sage 50 (because I have to!). I cannot work out how, once a row has been started, one can get rid of it. It appears to be impossible to delete it but an input screen will not close as it throws error messages (invalid date format, invalid value, or similar).
Does anyone know the trick or is it yet another irritation that Sage inflicts upon us just to wind us up?

F8 deletes a row in a grod
If you mean a row in a data entry grid then pressing F8 should remove it.
... and if my memory serves me well ...
Ctrl + F6 = previous value plus one
... but it may be the Alt, or shift key .... damnation ... my memory is crap after all!
You can delete a row?
I always thought you couldn't!!!
I knew looking at Aweb instead of working would be productive eventually!
Shortcut keys
If you go to the Help menu there is an option called Shortcut keys - this will give you a list of what all the F keys do.
There are some other useful functions such as calculating the net.
Yes ...
... press F9 when on the T code with the gross in the net box and it will calc net and VAT.
BUT ...
... what really annoys me about SAGE is that when you say mis-spell a word in teh description it is a palaver to sort out, and have to do twice on each entry, and if you have been using F6 to excess it can take an age, BUT f you accidently press discard in a momemnt of stress, rather than F8, the last three hours batch you have been entering disappears as if by magic - WHY WHY WHY do they not have an "ARE YOU SURE - THIS WILL DISCARD THE WHOLE SHEET" before the whole morning has been wasted?
