SAGE 50 V25 Client Manager bank feeds

SAGE 50 V25 Client Manager

Didn't find your answer?

We use SAGE 50 Client Manager for some clients bookkeeping and are currently on V24 paid with a monthly subscription.

We've linked the larger clients to Autoentry for invoice import but not yet used bank feeds.

Is the desktop version a genuine alternative to cloud (Xero, QBO etc) based products in terms of bank feeds?

i.e. could we use our 25 company user licence to access a bank feed for each client we have on SAGE Client Manager?

I may be looking in the wrong places but find it difficult to locate info on SAGE updates and the impact of new versions.

Any existing user feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi, bank feeds in Sage50 have been around since v22.

This help article should cover everything you need including those credit card accounts available too:

Step by step instructions here too:

Here is an example of what the Bank Feeds can look like.

Firstly, if you choose to set up rules for your transactions, you can choose to review these before the transactions are posted into the PnL, below is an example of the approval screen:

The bank feed itself pulls down transactions into a 4 square grid, The top left box represents transactions pulled from your bank, the top right represents transactions you are matching these transactions against e.g. Invoices that are to be allocated against a receipt, or perhaps the payment has already been manually entered in Sage 50, you may be matching it off against the manual payment to prevent duplicates being post. Example below:

Hope this is helpful
