Sage Bank Transfer needs allocating to customer ac

Allocating to customer accounts

Didn't find your answer?

We use Stripe to invoice our US customers.  Stripe used to pay into our UK $ account.  However, they now want an account that debits and credits can be made from.  This account was only a receiveable.  So we have had to add our Sterling account.  Stripe now pay out in £ but we want it in our $ account so we have done a bank transfer to it but I can't allocate it to the customer accounts (which are set up as $ customers).  Any ideas anyone??

Just an update from anyone who might be interested. Sage have advised that although the payment is coming in and out of the actual UK bank account, not to acknowledge this on Sage and just post as if it went directly to the US account in order to be able to post to the US customers.

Presumably there are some amount of exchange losses you are suffering to take account of if a USD amount being paid to a GBP account and then transferred to a USD account?
