Sage Invoice-by-nominal-code Reports?

Sage Invoice-by-nominal-code Reports?

Didn't find your answer?

Hi,
Our new bank require some information from us in order to complete some ratio checks.
They'd like me to provide them with a list of all invoices, within a specific period, that were raised to a specific (or two!)sales nominal code. ie all invoices raised between 01/07/14 and 30/06/15 and using nominal code 4001 or 4904 etc.
I have tried and tried under report designer to amend existing reports or start from scratch and am getting nowhere fast.
Does anyone know if this is possible in an existing format or if I will need to keep persevering?
We are using Sage Instant Accounts (latest version) on Windows 7, if that makes any difference.
I really appreciate your help!

Export and tidy?
How about exporting the Nominal Activity report to a CSV file and tidying up the result to only include SI/SC transaction types?

I'm not familiar with Sage Instant but can you apply a search to the financials? If so just apply a search for where transaction type is equal to SI and date is less than/greater than and nominal is equal to x then you can print this or export to csv/excel.

Go to the nominal ledger and highlight the nominal codes you want to report on. Under Reports run the nominal activity report between the required dates.

Surely that only gives me all N/L postings? I dont' want journals and deferred income postings, write off etc.

Just the invoices.  And the net, vat and gross would be useful too.

Customer Reports

I am looking at Instant Accounts Plus v15

Do you get the information needed by going to

Customer Reports

Day Book Reports

Day Books: Customer Invoices (Detailed)

then choose required date range and nominal codes, might need to do separate reports if codes are not adjacent.  Repeat for the Credit Notes

I would then either print out as they are or Export the previewed files to Excel as csv file and combine and tidy up as necessary in Excel
