Sage Perpetual Licence

Is it still possible to get a Sage Perpetual Licence?

Didn't find your answer?

The firm I used to work at used to buy a Sage Perpetual Licence every year so that when clients used to send in their Sage backups they always had the right version to read the backup.

Is it possible to still buy the perpetual licences? If so from where, I cannot find them on google.

If not what does everyone else do. I have a client that has sent me a version 27 backup. Do I have to subsribe to Sage cloud subscription and use that? I presume this version will update automatically every year when Sage brings out the updated licence. I have a client on version 23, which I go out to to get their records, I would prefer a backup as well. Is it possible to use a version 23 on the Sage cloud subscription.

Thanks
