We're looking at Sage vs QuickBooks vs Xero choice for accounting package in a charity. A key user has a visual disability that means they can't see colour well at all, and needs to enlarge the display on the screen.
Does the need to be able to control colour-coding and display size make a significant difference to the assessment and options for choice between these three packages?
Thanks,
Mick

This is a very tricky question, Mick.
I would contact these companies directly if you haven't done so already. They may even offer a discount/free software for charities.
Hi Mick, Clemmy here from Xero. We offer charity discounts. Do you want to email me and I can put you in touch with the right person to get it set up and/or discuss your needs - [email protected]
I use Liberty Accounts for charities. I know that is not the OPs question, but it has been developed specifically for the sector and should be looked at as well as the big players.
The OPs question was primarily about visual disability. I am red/green colour blind and can't distinguish certain colours and some faint colours used online I can't see at all. Years ago our old DOS software had the ability to set colours: not that it was an issue because DOS had bright text on a black background. Modern computers have loads more power than old DOS ones but programmers have forgotten about visual disabilities. A quarter of the population has some colour blindness/difficulties and lots of people struggle looking at monitors (in our office 10% of the staff need some sort of magnification despite us using high quality monitors). I can't answer the OP's question but I can confirm this is a real issue affecting a lot of people to some degree.
