Secondment accounting entry

Didn't find your answer?

What is the accountancy entry for a secondment? Does it need to be transferred off from Gross wages to ? Does the cost need to be recharged to the new division/department? If overheads are adsorbed on no. heads in percentage, how these can be allocated to the old department? In addiction to the gross salary, what other information I need? What further action should be taken?

Addiction to what? Drugs, drink, sniffing glue or all three?

Transfer 'off from'!! At least speak in debits and credits terms, oh and whilst you are at it, try to make general sense when you ask a pile of questions, plus note there is no need for the anon Q, per site rules.

Are they being seconded to another entity, or just within the one that employs them?

So what are the financial arrangements between the two entities around the secondment? Those are what you account for - not the secondment as such - and you haven’t mentioned what they are.
