Only one client unexpectedly turned down. Put in a request for review online on 5 May and have heard nothing since beyond an email acknowledging receipt of the submission. This week the client has also put in a request for review herself.
I have a number of clients who are still waiting, claims were confirmed and submitted on Monday 18th May.
Hopefully you didn't log into clients gateways and submit claims for them as this will result in long delays.
You must make the claim yourself. Your tax agent or adviser must not claim on your behalf as this will trigger a fraud alert, and you will have to contact HMRC. This will cause a significant delay to you receiving your payment.
Hi i have plenty clients still waiting for money. All send claim around 18/05. Strange isn’t?
Not so strange then that they are still waiting. HMRC made it very clear that agents were not able to claim on behalf of clients.
There was a link that someone posted on here yesterday from an Aweb article about not using clients gov gateways. Have a bit of a search through yesterdays responses ( I would but am too busy)
Not exactly. I make many claims after and before 18/05 and no one have problems. Only claims make on 18/05 delays

Curious as to why you made the claims when HMRC said specifically that we couldn't
Hi. How hmrc recognised who login in?
The computer you sent them on would all have had the same code (usually web browser id or mac code)
I do t think so. I used VPN and clean cookies. Cannot be traced. Every claim was from other IP.
Many people just can’t make claim online. The restriction is stupidly and not for purposes
You make it sound like you were trying something dodgy!!!!!
Thems the rules.
There were alternative ways to claim, so I dont know why you had to fudge the system to do something you shouldnt have been involved in. How did you complete the part about it being a valid claim? (when you are not the client).

I would not be as brave to confess to bypassing the system. Obviously you weren't as careful on the 18th May as you were on the other days!
I don’t bypassing anything. VPN is perfect safety way to work on web. We have many data to protect. This in not a law. This is just hmrc point of view. How you can help in other way? Many of my clients paid even 20% of grant to get “help” from unscrupulous “friend”. Hmrc push many of self employer in their hands. It’s horribly wrong don’t allowed agents to fill claims. And don’t make a law from hmrc guide Because their don’t have enough clever people to make proper applications. Look at MTD. How worse is it. Or new look gov accounts for self assessment or VAT MTD.
