Sending password protected documentsin a folder

How do I password - protect a folder , using MS Outlook and Adobe

Didn't find your answer?

I use MS Outlook, and I have a licence for Adobe.

I can send password protected documents, but I don't know how to password protect a folder, so that I can safely  email several documents at a time.

All ideas welcome

(1) Don't post anonymously when there is no possible justification.

Because I've bothered to read the site "rules" which say "Please note that posting as an anonymous user is reserved for sensitive content ...".

Asking for IT advice isn't "sensitive content".

I suggest that it is for the OP to determine the sensitivity of the question not some third party who isn’t privy to their circumstances.

For example if the OP is supposed to be an IT expert but doesn’t know an answer to this fairly basic question, one can well understand why they might wish to remain anonymous.

Create a zip file of your folder and password protect the zip file.
7zip is the best way to do this in my opinion.

You haven't said what product your licence is for. Adobe make many products; which one are you referring to?

You could try either AdobeSign, which has an annual subscription, or you could use SecureMail from StayPrivate.

I would recommend winrar it has a zip function but it is also easy to set a different password each time or the same one for each zip.

Google Drive / Drop Box / One Drive? GDrive can be used in a very secure way, as can One Drive.
