Services disappearing from clients hmrc account

Has anyone else noticed VAT services disappearing?

I have had two clients this week where the ability to view VAT services has disappeared from their online accountt, when they logon it tells them they must have some other user ID (which they dont), and to get a copy of the User ID they provide the (correct) details which HMRC are unable to authenticate.
