We've started migrating all of our clients on to MTD. Those with existing DD's seem to transfer across okay but for new clients and / or those without DD's already set-up does anyone know how or if you can set a VAT DD up for them? We could from the old agent services account but the MTD one appears to just be a portal to interface with the software we're using to submit our client's returns (Xero). No access to the VAT registration certificate / past VAT returns etc. either.
