We are a small but growing accountancy firm with a wide and varied client base. The company is currently based in Finchley Central but is relocating to St Albans, Hertforshire in early July 19.
We are now seeking a Bookkeeper / Administrator who is AAT qualified or part qualified as the company is willing to support the costs of the remainder of your training. If you are already AAT qualified, the company will support the cost of training to ACCA standard.
JOB ROLE (Not limited to):
Responsible for bookkeeping and preparation and filing of vat returns
Assisiting senior accountants with preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting director with engagement letters plus relevant documentation for new clients
Updating and requesting money laundering documentation from clients
Company secretarial duties including setting up limited companies and filing of confirmation statements
Maintains and updating client database
Provide support to the payroll manager
General office duties such as ordering stationary, scanning and filing documents etc
AAT qualified or part – qualified.
Familiar with Xero and freeagent software and recent developments with “making tax digital”.
Knowledge of BTC software a plus but not essential.
2-3 Years experience in an accountancy practice.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Salary: £22K - £24K per annum plus company pension scheme plus training package
