No - all finished yesterday.
To top it all last client turned up with lovely bunch of flowers and box of biscuits!
You see, sometimes we are appreciated!

Enjoy work!

Sort of.

tax returns long since finished. I have taken a few new jobs in January so need to finish the setting up of them. Also been doing a few one offs so going to get some bills out.

I am taking my daughter and her pals to infinite air (warehouse full of trampolines) and will be knocking a few emails and bills out over a latte and piece of cake there. Hopefully said child will be worn out afterwards.

Who says men cannot multi task.

Not giving the trampolines a go yourself then?

After a few high profile tumbles peaking last summer when I came off a "flicker" racing 15 kids doing about 25mph down a hill. (As Clarkson would say they have far too much over steer) I have had to take a step back from getting too involved as my recovery time since hitting 45 is a lot higher now.

Great facility for kids to run of some steam though whilst you can take it easy with a coffee and bank rec.

Crumbs! I hope you took some good earplugs! Mine would have been a spiked latte, in that noise!! ;OP

Limbo today as waiting on info.

Tomorrow making a house call to Nephew re his/his wife's returns, get to see a Great Niece which will be good as the only time I have seen her she was trying to see how loud she could cry-meeting will be fine and simple as long as they have all the data and there is not a repeat performance from their diva.

Today could bring missing info in which case I may work, if not, apart from picking up more cigars, a day tidying the study/sorting filing beckons ,and I do prefer a tidy room (which is rare given my very bad habits); my sheet stacking shredder will for a second year justify its cost.

The other thing this time of year brings is contemplating what gadget the study really needs, year end being 31 March I do need to think about whether a replacement laptop can be justified or maybe a comfier office chair.

The catch is that if I leave the study I may come under pressure re the half painted kitchen, before Christmas a ladder managed to shift with me on top resulting in some cut and bruised legs and I think the other half is getting a little miffed that 2.5 walls are done but not the rest.

Work? There is no work involved.

It is always a great pleasure to help my clients to keep their taxes up to date.

Still working, have 2 outstanding returns, both awaiting clients' decision re whether to pay voluntary class 2. But today have been dealing with IHT queries for some light relief, oh and a query from a client re importing wooden chalets from Czech Republic and can she reclaim the VAT (she is not VAT registered, sigh...!)
