Software for Construction Company Recommendation

We have tried Buildertrend, Workflow Max and Xero Projects.  Buildertrend might have worked but it can't cope with VAT and is so clunky that it is a nightmare to work.

My client is looking for a software package that allows the site employees to lodge their timesheets, record plant hire against jobs and we can enter purchase invoices against contracts then posted to Xero.  Also it needs to be able to have work scheduling, estimating and sales invoicing agaisnt contracts.

 

Can anyone recommend a package, we would like something like Construction Manager for Sage but for Xero.

Have you looked at simPRO? It's more suited to trades than construction but could do the job

Thanks, we did look at Simpro, it ticked all my client's boxes except one, of course now i can't remember what the one box was, I think it was the ability for the site staff to enter their timesheets.
