Software for Partnership tax returns

Software for Partnership tax returns

Didn't find your answer?

I am a sole practitioner and each year I submit about 25-30 personal tax returns and also ,about 10 CT600's for corp tax  using HMRC's own software.

I have recently taken on a partnership business client whose tax return cannot be submitted using HMRC software . Any advice on what software I could purchase for this ? .I only have this one partnership client ( two partners and only one of which is my client.I will also be submitting the partnership tax return). I have looked at BTC software but do not want to purchase just yet as I do not have that many clients to justify the cost. Any advice and comments will be appreciated.

Try this one
I similarly have only a couple of Partnership and a single trust return to prepare ,I use SA2000 excel based forms, basically these are pay as you go and are worth looking at for the odd one or two such returns.

Switched to BTC from IRIS in December. BTC gives you all the returns and you don't have to purchase separately.

Easy to use, good presentation. Highly recommend.

Image is of a pin up style woman in a red dress with some of her skirt caught in the filing cabinet. She looks surprised.

You're filing a lot of returns using HMRC's own software. I got fed up with it when I got to about 10 SA clients.

The time you will save with 3rd party software for everything you need should more than justify the cost.

We use FTax which is simple and at the lower end of the price spectrum.

But if you really just want to buy a SA800 product, I'd go with Andica (never used it, but seen it recommended a lot).

For a one or two off I would recommend Andica, but I would fully agree with monsoon in that once you have a number of clients, it's best to switch to integrated tax software. I switched from PTP (which used to be brilliant but then got very expensive) to TaxCalc which is different but easy to use and MUCH cheaper.
