Surely not

But that would be silly. You wouldn't catch me perpetuating a thread like that.

Well

If you really want to be ignored that's fine, but if you'd actually like to be taken notice of but are too shy / restrained / polite / another option not listed here to ask then I'm sure someone would be happy to oblige. Sadly not me though - I've got a book that needs my attention.

Count me out of this tomfoolery. Utterly futile, even for a Friday afternoon.

Special interest group

I wonder if The Very Boring Group would be interested in this thread. On the plus side, no point and accountants. On the minus side, quite silly so may be judged too exciting.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa

This thread caught my eye and I had a chuckle and was about to comment, then I thought I'd check who the OP was...

I have no recollection of starting this thread or of altering it to ask to be ignored!  I think I am loosing the few marbles I had...

I can make up a question and use that?  It will probably be as intelligent as whatever the original question was!

Back of the settee

Check down the back of the settee for those missing marbles. That's where I always find stuff I've lost.

You have a once in a lifetime opportunity to re-write history by inventing an awesome original question. No pressure. :-)

For the sake of credibility

I'd prefer them to remember the question they have allegedly forgotten. Big mistake to suggest forgetfulness.  Not only does the OP have to go through the process of writing it, there is the act of considering its silliness and then the act of deleting it. That kind of makes it all the more difficult to forget in a short timeframe.

Interesting . . .
