Striking off

Striking off

Didn't find your answer?

If a company DS01 goes in but there is then an objection and it is suspended, do Companies House write and tell the company the name of the party who has objected? I assume the whole DS01 process then has to be followed again to get it re-started if needed. Thanks

Does your client owe money to anyone? HMRC are usually the one's to object. They normally suspend the strike off and write to the objector giving them a time limit to carry out whatever action they are planning. When the objection expires if nothing has happened or the objector has not asked for extra time the strike off continues. You don't need to start the process again.

Telling HMRC in advance can be useful-I have one running that I want through this tax year (CGT losses on shares) and have written and chatted with HMRC to try to ensure there will be no hiccups with the timetable.

Helpful of them! Do they disclose it if you ring them, do you know?
