Tax Districts

Tax Districts

Didn't find your answer?

Yes - I know that it is on the notice but the client doesn't seem to have one (probably they have lost it)

We are the appointed agent so can look at everything on their account (which is not much as their first year has just finished) but it doesn't give the tax district anywhere - or if it does I can't find it.

So how can I find it?  Do I really have to spend/waste time trying to phone them up?

Tax Districts

I spoke to a supervisor at HMRC yesterday and he advised me that they are having yet another restructure of districts.  He told me that everything should now go to HMRC, PAYE & SA, PO Box 1970, iverpool, L75 1WX.  I don't know how correct this is and I will continue to reply to the office that issues letters and notices but for forms etc where I have no district, I will be sending things there.

Largely academic nowadays

HMRC are using a global PO Box and if you ring the Agent line quoting the UTR you will get a response. See HERE
