Hello, I am looking for SA, partnership and CT return software for my 15-20 clients, I am using Andica for SA but did not find user friendly.
Which software do people reccomend in terms of cost effective and user friendly?
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Taxfiler.

Let us know how you get on with it.
I have about the same number of clients. I use Forbes for the individual tax returns. It's a little pricer that others but having used it 20+ years I find it very reliable. I only have 1 partnership so I use Andica for that.
I use Top Up Tax here - pay as you go - £5 per return, for any combination of returns (personal tax, partnership, corporation etc). Though you have to pay for 5 at a time
I use Taxcalc for both tax and AP, not the cheapest but I find it user friendly. Clients love the E-sign option too.
FTax provide a range of agent package options for SA, Partnership and CT. Very simple to use.
Absolute accounting - I've used their software since day 1 for accounts production, SA & CT tax rtns. It's designed inconjunction with Forbes

And their support on the odd occassion you do need it is second to none
They also have bridging software re MTD Vat which we use and other tax planning tools wrtten by Tim Good
I use Andica for Partnership and Trust for SA returns, but HMRC for SA returns. I also use Andica for CT600 and payroll. Support is good. For MTD it depends on what bookkeeping software is used - Pandle, Sage, Kashflow
Depends what your budget is and how big you wish to grow.
taxfiler is entry level and will do everything you need.
We use taxcalc which is more expensive but you will get benefits from it if you scale.
My dad used to always say there is 2 things you should never scrimp on, and thats your shoes and a bed as if you are not in one you are wearing the other.
That is mind as an accountant its worth investing in decent practice software as you are using it day in day out, if you are saving 15 minutes a job thats the benefit.
You've made me think now, I've used Taxfiler for a few years now, but just been to look at Taxcalc and does seem to have more to it.
Also I'm not convinced of Iris's support for Taxfiler no matter what they say.
