Tax sftware

Personal Tax software

Didn't find your answer?

I have been using Keytime for about 15 years. It has now been taken over by Iris with the associated hike in fees and perpetual intrusion by Iris. Can anyone recommend personal tax software for about 50 clients?

I use Digita for personal tax and have been happy with it. I think fees are circa £550 for 50 clients.

Many thanks for the input. I will give both a try. I am paid up with Keytime for this year so I have time to study both of these before switching to one for next year.

I recommend Taxfiler. We pay the new fees, so £300 pa for all our SA and CT returns. We used HMRC before so the time saving is worth the price.

You can also prepare accounts but I don’t use this, many others do.

This was the first one I looked at and I was quite impressed but I now understand that it has been bought out by Iris so I would expect large price hikes, advertising of other software and general interference.

I'm thinking of ditching Taxfiler, TaxCalc looks good but the cost of adding the cloud really bumps the price up.
