TaxFiler's new Practice Management software

When is TaxFiler's new Practice Management software being launched?

I read recently that TaxFiler are introduciung a Practice Management module to their existing software, but I can't find specific details of this anywhere. Has anyone else heard of this development and have any details? I am a TaxFiler user and am currently looking at Practice Management software, so to have a fully integrated solution would be great. Thanks.

I’ve cancelled my AccountancyManager subs in anticipation, but have seen nothing.

Interestingly, it wasn’t developed in-house but adapted from a platform produced by an Accountancy firm.

Collaboration seems a sensible way to develop it. Have looked at AM too.

At that cost = no thanks. I have a vague recollection that at Accountex Taxfiler said current users would be getting it free but then I went to so many stands in what was an excellent day out that I may have misunderstood or misheard or mis-hoped!
I am also looking at AM but then I get a discount.

That's the new cost of Taxfiler, not the price of the Practice Manager. This is currently in beta I understand but will be included in TF once it's ready, at no extra cost.

Definitely not at no extra cost. The new prices on their website are for new customers and existing customers will be contacted this month/next to be told which plan suits them best then be moved on to it.

Don’t you hate it when you sign up to a deal, then the software company grows & radically changes its pricing structure then bombards you with calls or emails advising you on which is the best new plan for you, at 3 x the cost.

PracticeIgnition have been doing it to me for a few months.

Whilst they did grow quite substantially this is all coming from them bastards at IR*S!

And was always going to happen after the takeover :-(
The beauty of TaxFiler was it's simple no-frills tax and accounts production.
A look at Taxcalc shows how bulky and costly things get when you move from your core product.

As a 'one-man-band' requiring only a single-user licence, the cost to me will be very reasonable, particularly if the Practice Management Software comes as part of the package at no extra cost. Waiting in anticipation for some news on this.
