Thanks!

Thanks!

Didn't find your answer?

I was surprised this morning to see i have received 106 thanks for my posts!

I don't even post that much!

Would love to know what some of the 'big boys' have.  Anyone care to share that information?

I know i can probably go through and look myself but its time consuming and I would struggle to remember who I should be looking at!

Cheers.

I have only received 44 thanks. My excuse is that I have only been a member for 1 year and 4 months :)

where do you find the number of thanks you have received?

Or do I not see any because no one has thanked me?

Just looked at my 'strike rate' - I think we should stick to the question of how many thanks!

...when I look at my account is says 1309 - from some 4000+ posts, but that is over 4 years and some ...

... NEW YEARS RESOLUTION, more work, less posts :o)

Thanks, Mouse!

Just for interest, the 'thanks' button only came in with the last AWeb upgrade, along with the 'report' and 'quote' buttons.

All seem to get plenty of use.

We pondered about having a 'boo' button, but AWeb didn't think it was good idea ;)

Single posts

One or two "thanks" for a single post is common, but some of my better posts have attracted over 10 - I think my personal best is 15 (https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/anyanswers/question/desecration-chartere...) Although some "deleted" ones probably topped that.

So while I have no hope of catching that Penguin, I might aspire to chasing the single post record.

I've always meant to ask, where do you get all your images from?

Boo

Agree with Shirley M re 'boos'

Then we might not be so eager to say how wonderful we all are.

I'll take the first boo.

33 in 8 years

But I do not post that much maybe twice a month if I can add something to the discussion but spend perhaps 1/2 hour 4 days a week reviewing the any answers questions whilst eating my lunch.

A mountain to climb

50% return on posts is an impressive return at any level.

Is the answer less posts but of a better quality or thanking everyone who thanks you as a sort

or counter thank.

You have started something here it could be a sort of AWEB status symbol.
