Time recording and billing

Time recording and billing

Didn't find your answer?

We have a client who work on a number of contracts. They employ 100/200 staff who are charged out at agreed rates for normal and overtime. They work from dailt time attendance records maintained by foremen which typically will cover 20/30 employees. There will be various grades of staff. Currently the data is collated on spreadsheets and invoiced fortnightly to the main contractor with the spreadsheet schedules of time worked etc. Does anyone know of a turnkey product that would cope with this or do we need to use a database? Thanks in advance for any help

have you thought of Quick Books
Hi Bob, have you thought of using Quick Books for time recording and billing?

The time recording software is pretty comprehensive. The only downside is that it would be expensive to have a registered copy of the software on everybodies pc. Having the software on just one machine might not be what you were thinking of, but it is a cost effective solution!

The link between billing and time recording is pretty good as well.

Dear Bob

We are an authorised Solution Centre for Microsoft's Navision Axapta.

Our Project Series will allow you to collect data from employees, grade them and maintain overtime rates. Data can also be collected through your web-site by using Employee Self Service too.

The data can then be used to raise both on-account and normal invoices. Time and materials, fixed cost and internal projects are fully catered for too.

Take a look at the "Products" section on our web site, under Project Accounting & E-Business for more details. You can find us at www.alcomsystems.co.uk

We'd be delighted to show you how your client might benefit from a Microsoft Business Solution.

AccountView Costing Solution from AptiView Business Solutions
The AccountView business software solution includes a highly flexible time recording and billing system that has two benefits over other equivalent systems. Firstly, it is easy to use and administer. Secondly, it has a much lower cost of ownership than equivalent systems.

Info required
Hi Bob Are all the people able to enter their timesheets on the same network or will there be a requirement to enter the timesheets via email or via the web. If they are all on the same network the cost could be sub 1000. Yours Viv Burrows [email protected]
