To FRSSE or not to FRSSE in old accounts prep...

Which standard should I use for the preparation of 2009 accounts?

Didn't find your answer?

In order to restore a company to the Register of Companies I need to prepare unaudited small co accounts for several years, from 2009 to date.  The earliest of those would, had they been prepared 8 ish years ago, been subject to FRSSE 2008.  Should I refer to/use the format of FRSSE 2008 when preparing the 2009 accounts now?  Or, should I apply current FRS102 requirements? Seems to me the accounting period dates determine which standards to use (so FRSSE 2008 for 2009 accounts), but would be grateful if anyone has had this issue before and can confirm.

Administrative restoration? I did one early this year, going back to 2006.

You have to use the regs at the relevant period, so FRSSE in your Q.

NB make sure that you not only use the correct AR01 / CS01, but also the correct version of the form that was applicable at the time. We wasted weeks not appreciating this technicality.

A belated thank you ALISK... expected to get a notification of a reply, but didn't. By the time I read your reply I had already gone down exactly the same route as you advised.
