Uber eats payments

On which would I calculate for my annual turnover

Didn't find your answer?

Which do I class as my turn over the earnings or the total payout , also could you explain why

Earnings £600.58

Uber Eats Fee  - £180.24

Net Sales +£420.34

"Vat Adjustment" +£23.26

Total Payout £443.60

Thanks for the help

You need to appoint an accountant and get them to explain everything to you

I've never seen an Űber Eats invoice but I vote none of them. Fwiw, I'd vote £623.84. I agree you really need an accountant. This is complicated stuff.

Thank you, Tom. Yes, the diacritics are all on your keyboard if you know where to look.

Wait till I get a chance to show off my Cyrillic alphabet !

I've found three ways to solve this requirement:
* Sites that explain how to achieve it via your standard keyboard - such as https://www.thoughtco.com/how-to-type-french-accents-1372770
* Sites that let you select a variant of one of the standard characters (but with appropriate accent) to copy elsewhere - such as https://turkish.typeit.org/
* Typing the word/phrase into Google search and selecting one of the 'found sites' that just happens to contain that word with all local language accents

I like the notion that you would only ever want to type French accents.

Not German, Welsh, Spanish, Polish, Irish, Gaelic etc etc.

Most of them are easily accessed on your keyboard at Alt+ a three digit code on the numerals keypad.

So Alt 130 is é, Alt 147 is ô, Alt 160 is á, and so on.

Most of the codes are 129-169.

I thought my use of "such as" was indicative of there being multiple alternative sources (not infinite unless inhabiting the mind of the late Douglas Adams).

My point was that there's a choice of routes - some more suitable than others depending on your task (one 'foreign' word within a forest of English ones ... or a letter/essay wholly in another language).

I don't know what the VAT adjustment is about, but your turnover is not less than £600.58 - which I believe is the value of the supplies you have made to your customers.

I guessed it was Output Tax as it was added on.

But it is a guess.

If this is for your self-assessment/tax return go with £600.58 and enter £600.58 in the trading allowance box assuming not already used. You'll have no tax to pay on the income.

Gosh - I doubt that this is for the full year !

Another guess - but is it not a VAT FRS question ?

Hmmm. This is exactly the same amounts as a question posted two years ago, also right before the filing deadline.

I didn't realise you meant *exactly* the same (every single figure)!

Makes you wonder from where the OP is coming (and whether that is in the physical 'real' world)?
Might explain the lack of detail and responsiveness - if not the reason for posting.
