I'm looking at an opportunity where I would have a contract of employment with a Dutch company. They have no legal entity in the UK.
I am resident in the UK and would be working for them in the UK. I don't want to act as a contractor and just invoice them, this is a salaried role.
My question is what is the mechanism for paying tax and NI, does the Dutch company need to do anything or can I register to pay HMRC direct. If there are options that would also be good to know.
Thanks

Yes, as you are an employee they would register with HMRC and pay your tax and NI. You will get a pay slip each pay period.
Edit: I got it wrong. Sorry. Just what this site is for, correcting you when you think you know the answer & it turns out you don't. Ouch.

PNL is right that this may not be the best place to ask. I'm surprised you haven't had the comment "it's all double Dutch to me ha ha ha!" from one of our resident comedians.
Good luck.
We have been here already, although for a Netherlands employer, not a Dutch one:

Is Holland no longer part of the Netherlands?
I think you meant to say Luxembourg enployer!
Have a look at direct payment schemes. You set up a payroll in your name and apply PAYE to the gross amounts you are paid.
