ULEV benefit in kind rates

Mileage query

Didn't find your answer?

Good morning all,

Client has asked for a projection on the BIK cost of having a BMW I3 with 13 CO2 as a company car.

The current year and next year are easy. The 2020-21 year is the one I am having difficulty with.

The rates published by HMRC state that the BIK rate depends on the miles that the electric motor/batteries do. The problem is that the BMW brocure states the NEDC electric miles as 146  and the Real World elctric miles as 113! I assume that I should use the 'official' NEDC figure but I am not 100% sure. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Thank you in advance
