UN pension lump sum taxable?

Client worked for the UN. Now resumed residence. Pension lump sum received. Taxable?

Didn't find your answer?

My client worked outside the UK for the UN between 2013 and June 2017. Now back in the UK as a resident.

Has just received a pension lump sum for the UN ($11K).

Am assuming not taxable in the same way as his UN Salary was not taxable, however would welcome clarification please.

Thanks.
