Unity Trust Bank Feeds into SAGE Cloud 50

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

Registered Charity banks with Unity Trust and have been using bank feeds within Sage 50 Cloud. The feed ceased working on 23rd December 2019. I've been advised by Unity Trust that it is a Sage issue. On a discussion with Sage they advise me that under the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) (but is often referred to as Open Banking) Unity Trust is not a "Supported Bank" and as such the feeds can't be set up.

I've approached Unity Trust with the following questions:

1. Have they got plans to work with Sage to become a "Supported Bank"?

2. Are they a "Supported Bank" with other Software eg Xero or Quickbooks?

I'd appreciate it if anyone else has had this problem and knows of a work-around that doesn't involve csv's!

Colin

Does sage allow Yodlee feeds? You can use that to pull any bank data as it doesn't use open banking.

Hi Colin,

This means your bank hasn’t yet created an Open Banking (PSD2) Ready connection that we’ve been able to connect to. We’re pushing hard for all UK banks to adopt new Open Banking (PSD2) connections.

If your bank switches before March 2020, we’ll automatically move you over to an Open Banking (PSD2) Ready connection. But if we get closer to March 2020 and your bank still isn’t ready, we’ll be in touch with what you may need to do next.

You can keep checking the status of your bank or when your bank is added at www.sage.com/OpenBanking

Regards,

Paul
