Using a PO Box address

Using a PO Box address

Didn't find your answer?

Hello,

I've been asked by a client if its ok to use a PO box address on contracts of services (for 'employment') that she issues to self employed people, by her Ltd company. She does not want to use her home address, which is the companies registered address. Any advice would be greatfully received. Many thanks.

If it's the company's registered office it's already a matter of public record.  So any hope of preserving the confidentiality of the address is forlorn.

Yes, unfortunately the client didn't realise that when she set up the company. I've informed her of this, but she still wants to change the registered address. I've told her Companies House will not accept a PO Box address, but she still wishes to change it on the contracts. Not sure what else to advise.

It's a legal question then.

It's a legal question then.  One for a good commercial lawyer.  Presumably she has one drafting the contracts.
