Are others suggesting that clients now register for VAT MOSS in Ireland from January? It seems like the most sensible solution, but I could be wrong and am open to other solutions!
If we do have to go down this route, do we know if we will be able to create an Irish agent accout and file returns on clients' behalf?

Haven't got anyone on VATMOSS but, if I had, I'd be voting for Ireland as half of their official languages are English.
