Possibly yes, possibly not. Nobody can tell from the amount of information in your anonymous question.

Sorry

I have basic understanding on importing and exporting.

My understanding is that if goods are being delivered to the EU and the customer is a VAT Registered business then VAT can be zero rated but however if they are not then VAT is chargeable at UK rate.

Is my understanding correct.

Correct, intra-EU B2B supplies of goods are zero rated. You need proper evidence of removal and arrival. You will need to complete an EC Sales List, and, subject to the volume of business, IntraStat declarations.
And, consider monthly VAT Returns too.
