VAT on Tuition Centre:

VAT on Tuition Centre:

Didn't find your answer?

Can anyone advise on the below issue:-

1- If tuition is provided as a sole proprietor?

2- If tuition is provided through a limited company with no employees?

3- If tuition is provided through a limited company with employees?

Thanks.

Likely to get more helpful replies if you post your own thoughts (with some more details) after doing some research rather than ask members to do this for you and make a number of guesses. Here's a start point:-

The detail is too much to bear, what kind of tuition, driving, dancing, sex education, typing?

But as a starter for 10 heres an extract from the law VAT Act 1994 Schedule 9 Group 6: education saying one thing that would be exempt:
"2 The supply of private tuition, in a subject ordinarily taught in a school or university, by an individual teacher acting independently of an employer."

Hint: An 'individual teacher' is not any form of limited company.
