This has now happened for 2 clients.
we registered for VAT a few weeks ago (one a newco, the other not). This week, we contact Hmrc as no vat number has been received. Their response is that a 'more info required' was letter sent out to the reg office - that's us for one of them, we didn't get it & the other client says they didn't either - and as no response was received, then cancelled the application.
Anyone else come across this?
Hopefully I've pre-empted any questions that you can't ask.
