Do you mean the email offering website services? I have unsubscribed from future emails.

I didn’t see the post on here.

It was made anonymously. Sift considered that an abuse of that facility and pulled it.

Meanwhile, anybody worked out what's happening with their direct debits ?

Mine was cancelled yesterday.

Did you not get the email / see the note on the login page?

I worked out why I hadn't received any emails about this. Turns out that I had but they'd gone to an old email and for some reason not auto-forwarded.

I got one a month ago saying they'd cancelled my subscription. Then another saying they were setting up a new direct debit. Then another saying they couldn't collect that direct debit but they were setting up a different direct debit. Then another telling me the new direct debit. Then another saying they were cancelling the direct debit. Then one this morning saying they were taking some money by direct debit next Wednesday.

And the banks claimed cheques were a thing of the past because they were hard to deal with .....

We pulled it on the basis that:

a) it wasn't a question; and
b) it was a little bit sweary.

Happy to have discussion about this or any other product-related stuff on the forum, but it just wasn't constructive.

Hope that clears things up.

All the best,

Tom

Constructive?

Things have to be constructive?!

That's at least half my posts should be pulled! :)

The good news is that, in law, "constructive" means "not obvious or stated explicitly; derived by inference."

So ALL of Justin's posts are constructive.
