Which payroll software

Which payroll software

Didn't find your answer?

I currently provide payroll for 2 of my clients which I do manually.

I would like to expand in this area but I need to purchase payroll software, to make the process quicker.

I want it to be:

  • Cheap
  • User friendly
  • Multi company

Any suggestions?

Moneysoft

This is the obvious choice, if you do a search on here you'll see it recommended time after time.

Moneysoft

The interface is a little dated and could do with a facelift but it so user friendly and good value.

I really can't recommend it enough.

Moneysoft interface

I am slightly puzzled by the comments that the Moneysoft interface is a bit dated.  It is basically a set of spreadsheets with columns for the pay elements and rows for the payroll periods for each employee (and CIS sub-contractor).  Do people think that the Excel interface is a bit dated?

I don't know 12pay, but you cannot go wrong with Moneysoft at just £112 a year for the multi-company version.

Moneysoft...

I've been using it for 7 years and it's great.  Meets all your criteria and they give good support too.  Very happy to recommend it.

Thank you for your comments

it sounds like Moneysoft is the way to go!  I will see what I can find out about both that and 12 pay.

Moneysoft

Another one for moneysoft

Also puzzled by the comments that interface looks dated - Infact I was not too impressed with the 12pay interface (based on the video they have on their website) - but each to their own preferences

Yawn

Yep, Moneysoft. Loads of other threads on Aweb have the same resounding verdict.

I have 25 person weekly payroll to do and all done from opening client e-mail to sending return e-mail with reports in less than half an hour.

Well, I downloaded Moneysoft free trial

and the basic user guide and  it really is very easy to use.  Does what I need and I like that technical support is included in the very reasonable price!

Thanks everyone for your comments
