Which software packages are good for AML checks?

Does anyone recommend a good, affordable software package for AML checks for a small accounting firm

Didn't find your answer?

We have been usine credit safe for the checks but their prices are now going up and, quite frankly, I am sick of being hassled by their sales team.

Anyone got any recommendations. We are a small accountancy practice so don't use it that much.

Thanks

I've been using Sanctions Search for many years, always reliable and good customer service . Rescreens your data if anything changes.

I use Amiqus and find them easy to use and good value for money. I buy what I think I might need and unused credits just roll over. I'm a sole practitioner and, like you, don't need to use it that regularly so find it fits my needs.

Veriphy - no problems and good prices, don't have to bulk purchase in advance.

Veriphy for me - again I pay as I search, and you get 30 days credit

Veriphy gets a vote from me too. Very easy to use and reasonably priced.

AccountancyManager users are able to perform AML checks within our system during the onboarding process. Credits are available from as little as £1.25. We’ve expanded our offering by releasing company credit checks and international checks are currently been worked on. Updates to our system are made under the guidance of a former HMRC tax inspector who advises us on our AML and risk assessment forms. We’d be delighted to talk to you further about this, if this is of interest please do get in touch.

Veriphy for me too; same problem with Creditsafe and having to buy in bulk.

Same issue with creditsafe, albeit at a former firm I invited them to to do a deal at £1 day for three years (very cheap) which they accepted

I also use Veriphy. But ensure that you have all the correct data. A client transposed some figures he gave me, and I had to have three attempts before I succeeded. Each attempt counts as a separate search!

Anyone use Tax Calc's version? Be interested to know whether that does the job well (I know the cost and "bulk buy" issue)
