why is it that the title that appears on the listing

is not the same as the title you see

Didn't find your answer?

when you go to the question?

OR

to put it all together

why is that the title that appears on the listing is not that the same as the title you see when you go to the question?

And why is NONE the default for receiving updates? Is that the most commonly used option? If so why do people post?

And why lots more things...

It is a bit like those companies who tell you that "for your convenience we won't be providing such or such a service any more"

and now I have to choose to be me or to be anon every time I post????

Jeez - and a category, and tags (whatever the are)

If you look at old Any Answers postings where part of the response is in the title, well that will now be missing making it difficult to grasp the point being made.

I have also noticed that one now seems to be able to thank one's own posts. Not that I have actually done it, so I don't know if it triggers the Email to oneself that a member has thanked one's post.

Sadly John yes, I've also noticed that addition to the revised website.
That and, the ability for members to post with an anonymous avatar, really suggests simple failures in design?
Whilst I do understand that these sites need constant update and refreshment and, it all takes time and effort- it really does beggar belief that the latest design (seemingly) hasn't been Beta tested prior to wide release.
It maybe, just maybe, that Aweb has gone beyond it's sell-by date?
All of the above and, if your post requires editing, you have to return to your account, jumping through another set of hoops!
