Winding up a company

Putting together a budget for managed winding up of a comapny

Didn't find your answer?

Hi All

What should I include in a forecast for costs of closure of a company. I'm thinking in terms of redundancy costs, paying of lease committments, terminating contracts etc - is there anything obvious I'm missing?

Is this for a solvent Liquidation (Members Voluntary Liquidation AKA an "MVL") or an insolvent Liquidation (Creditors Voluntary Liquidation aka "CVL") or are you anticipating paying all creditors off and dissolving the Company ordinarily?

No so it would be in anticipation of a managed closure so no liquidator. Just an anticipated budget for closing the company. Creditors are to be paid in full.
